Earth Day

To me, earth day is a day when people help to clean up our earth and to learn about how we can all use and polute less. On earth day, my mom goes to the village green and takes a spot to clean up. For the past two years, she has chosen Waukegean road. After going through the entire road for about 3 blocks, it is pretty sad what you find: cigarettes, bottles, plastic, car parts, or even some metal or aluminum. If there was no such thing as earth day, we would have a much dirtier planet than it is today.

What motivates me to learn chemistry

Ever since the first day of chemistry, I knew that this class would be difficult - From determining the amount the pressure of gas at a certain temperature to nuclear fisson.At one point, I thought that I would not pass the class because it was so difficult. But when my dad told me about becoming a doctor, he told me that I would have to work hard to become one. And that is what is currently motivating me to learn chemistry.
